While not an exhaustive list of our stops. These pages will provide some insight on the start and end points of each section of the journey. This may change frequently as interesting areas are discovered or external factors force us in a different direction.

20. Les Mureaux (LFXU)

Located in the outer suburbs of Paris. Les Mureaux is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the north-western suburbs of Paris, 35.9 km from the centre of Paris.

21. Courchevel (LFLJ)

Courchevel Airport is an altiport serving Courchevel, a ski resort in the French Alps. The airfield has a very short runway of only 537 metres (1,762 ft) with a gradient of 18.6%. There is no go-around procedure for landings at Courchevel, due to the surrounding mountainous terrain.

22. NICE (LFMN)

Located in the French Riviera, on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Alps, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille.

23. Altisurface d'Aleu (LFSQ)

Located in the Pyrenees Mountain range. Only 918ft long on an uphill slope. We will plan to camp here and continue on the Spain and Portugal.

24. CASTELL De Castells (LECS)

Enguera is a municipality in southwestern province of Valencia, Spain. The local economy depends primarily on agriculture, and secondarily on industry and services.

25. Pista do Monte do Pombo (LEDL)

Cáceres was our intended stop for the night. But since making such good time we decided to continue on across the border to Portugal. This is a small dirt strip just past the border and we will camp for the night!

26. FARO (LPFR)

The Ria Formosa lagoon attracted humans from the Palaeolithic age until the end of prehistory. The first settlements date from the fourth century BC, during the period of Phoenician colonization of the western Mediterranean.

27. Tit Mellil (GMMT)

Casablanca is the largest city of Morocco. Located in the central-western part of Morocco bordering the Atlantic Ocean, it is the largest city in the Maghreb region and the eighth-largest in the Arab world.

28. AGDZ

Near a small village called Bleida. We will make an overnight in the south eastern part of Morocco and experience the sights of these remote mountain ranges.

29. Plage Blanche

Near the Atlantic coast Plage Blanche sits at the norther point of the Western Sahara.Be sure to bring water!
